DEVELOPING AND ACING A GLOBAL CAMPAIGN SPONSORSHIP WITH AUSTRALIA’S TOP TRADING PLATFORM

I wore many of hats for this project, from creative strategy, copy writing, tagline and multi channel strategy for a 4 year global sponsorship between the worlds largest tennis organization and Australia’s leading trading platform.

The Ask

Trading platform Pepperstone needed a creative platform and multichannel strategy for their partnership with global tennis organization ATP.

  • My strategy was to create a creative brand platform that would instantly communicate their product with an alignment to tennis.

  • Successful trading, like elite tennis, hinges on precision, strategy, and the ability to capitalize on opportunities. By positioning traders as 'Advantage Traders,' we highlight the synergy between their skillful decision-making and the powerful tools at their disposal, reinforcing the idea that with the right support, they can gain a competitive edge in the financial markets.

  • Partnership platform: “Advantage, Trader"

    I crafted the tagline 'Advantage Trader' to deliver a succinct, impactful message that positions Pepperstone as a premier trading platform. By using a familiar tennis term, we efficiently convey our understanding of the sport while emphasizing the competitive edge traders can gain.

    This fat-free copy resonates with both traders and tennis enthusiasts, reinforcing our brand identity in a clear and engaging way.

  • I wore a lot of hats on this project, from strategy, copy writing and being the multi channel planner.

    Touch points for this campaign included:

    TV, OOH, In-stadium, Meta and YouTube Ads, Display, Social Video Series, Player PR Moments.

Hero Commercial

The Pepperstone "Advantage Trader" TVC parallels trading with tennis, highlighting the importance of resilience, strategy, and long-term planning.

It positions Pepperstone as a leading platform for traders, while appealing to tennis fans by merging sport and strategy.

The 30” TVC included 5” and 15” cut-downs optimized for vertical and horizontal web placements.

The commercial was globally amplified in key markets which were holding tennis tournaments. Channels included Meta, YouTube, TV, streaming and in-stadia.

Social Content

led the creative strategy for the campaign partnership, ensuring all content reinforced Pepperstone's positioning as the leading trading platform.

I developed content that consistently showcased rising and sustained performance, drawing parallels with the world’s top athletes to strengthen the brand's narrative and appeal across social channels.

The ‘Advantage Trader’ partnership saw a global roll out.

Branded takeovers of Melbourne trams, posters throughout Londons Tube system (left picture) and in stadium such as Hamburg Germany.
